ARRIVAL NOTICE

Dear exchange students:

 The Interamerican University of Puerto Rico in San Germán will begin Spring 2010 classes on Tuesday, January 19, 2010.

 On Monday, January 18, 2010, we will have an identified vehicle that can pick you up at the Mayagüez airport. This airport is located on the southwest side of the island. The San Juan International airport is the airport in which you will arrive. You have to take another flight to Mayagüez, your final destination. Please choose from one of the flights below and let me know ( fill out the Arrival Note ) what time you will be arriving so that I can make the proper transportation arrangements.
Those students traveling on summer need to make similar arrangements but need to check with me before making the final arrangements as there is no established arrival date. You should take in consideration, however, arriving 2 business days before classes start in the summer so that all appropriate arrangements can be made.

 From San Juan to Mayagüez:

Airline CAPE AIR from San Juan (SJU) to Mayagüez (MAZ) is the only airline that offers service in the following flights and time. You can get information from the company at the following webpage: www.flycapeair.com

** We need to know what flight number you will arrive on at least one week before you depart for
Puerto Rico so that we can make the appropriate transportation arrangements.

We recommend that you take flight #39.
