For information on financial aid (and on how long it will take to have a loan processed), contact the Financial Aid Office at (787) 264-0176 (this is a direct number) or 264-1912 at the following extensions: 7250 through 7252. You can also contact the Financial Aid Office Director, Ms. Brunilda Ferrer via e-mail at bferrer@intersg.edu. At this institution, Stafford Federal Loans take months to be processed, so you may want to consider a Federal Perkins Loan in order to avoid having to pay 50% of the university costs before your loan comes in. The Federal Perkins Loan, on the other hand, can be processed at the time you register for your classes. The Federal School Code for the campus is 017202. In addition to federal loans, there are limited forms of other financial aid and employment on campus, but you will need to be here to apply. These include the Federal Work-Study Program, graduate assistantships, and different federal programs, such as the McNair program.
